Throughout my 25-year journey in neurosurgery, I have made it a principle to combine technology with surgical precision. After graduating from Çukurova University and completing my residency at Dokuz Eylül University, I specialized in spinal biomechanics at the Barrow Neurological Institute in the USA. In my academic career, where I attained the title of professor in 2020, I have focused on advanced technological applications such as awake brain surgery, endoscopic skull base surgery, and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). By integrating neuronavigation and intraoperative neuromonitoring technologies into my routine practice, I aim to provide safe and effective surgical solutions tailored to each patient. My priority in clinical practice is to minimize surgical trauma through minimally invasive methods and accelerate my patients' recovery process. I consider it a responsibility to share my knowledge with young surgeons as an invited speaker at national and international congresses. While contributing to the literature with 68 academic articles and over 1,800 citations, as a married father of two, I aim to share the innovations of modern surgery with you.
